Do you have the time and desire to volunteer and get involved in the Law Clinic Rostock? Great! We are always looking for organisational support and offer training and further education, as well as workshops on legal advice and current topics.
Every summer semester, we offer a (non-company) training course in the field of migration law to round off your knowledge in this area.
Thomas Wanie, lawyer for asylum and residence law, provides us with an overview of the complexity of migration law regularly in the summer semester and teaches the basics so that ‘Dublin’ is no longer just a city for you. In addition, case seminars with current practical topics are offered to give an impression of legal work in the field of residence and asylum law.
In order to expand our range of advisory services, we are now also offering a training programme in the area of civil law, such as tenancy law and employment law, in the winter semester.
In the winter semester, the civil law training programme includes the basics of tenancy and employment law, with case workshops in these areas of law, as well as (case) workshops on counselling practice and legal aid.
Please send us an e-mail if you would like to enrol or have any further questions!
There are currently no training dates.
Write us an email and register or come along to the first lecture date and decide on the spot whether you would like to attend the training programme for a certificate. We look forward to seeing you!
Students on the Good Governance – Business, Society, Law degree programme can complete a work-related internship with us at the start of each semester (winter and summer semesters).
The internship comprises 240 hours, which must be completed within two semesters or 12 months.
This includes participation in our training programme, which comprises approx. 20 hours in each case. This leaves an average working week of around 4 hours to complete the required hours of work placement.
You will familiarise yourself with cases and work with other advisors to find solutions to clients’ problems. You will also be involved in the planning of events and gain insights into the organisation and the diverse everyday life of the association.
You can also gain valuable experience for your studies and your future by taking part in our training programmes, providing regular advice and participating in interesting workshops.
We are looking for likeable and motivated students who are interested in the practical application of the law, can work independently, fit in well with our team and are committed and willing to learn. Solid foreign language skills are an advantage, but definitely not a requirement.
Please send us any questions or your speculative application by e-mail.
We look forward to receiving your application!
